– “While browsing around I came across a language learning site called Livemocha. …  I would specifically look for people who could help me with my Spanish and in the process I got to hook up with some amazingly helpful and friendly Spanish speakers.

Within a few days I realized it was a genuine site with real people having a passion to learn new languages. I also discovered that the grammar revision I did while learning my Spanish was helping me explain the English language nuances and differences to Spanish speakers. It was fun and the appreciation I got from fellow members was priceless.

It’s been about 8 months since I’ve been on that site and have had some amazing experiences. The fondest one that comes to mind now is how Silvia and I worked on her C.V. in English when she wanted to apply for a job at an American MNC. We went back and forth writing and rewriting her CV in English and were thrilled to bits when she got the job.”

I have been extremely pleased with my livemocha experience thus far. It is an incredible learning environment and every bit as good as the reviews say. I am really glad I came across it and signed up. Anyone who wants to learn a language and converse with people from around the world has to try ‘mocha.

Livemocha is a great way of learning or improving new languages, the methods are quite efficient and the fact that we can communicate with native speakers of any language it’s very useful. I signed up a year ago and I improved a lot the languages I already spoke and I started to learn 2 new ones. I also had the chance to help other people in their learning process, not only in my native language and the feeling that your explanations are making a difference for someone is great. What is different about this site is that it covers a wide area of languages, it is always active, people don’t just sign up and never sign in after that, we are constantly communicating and we share the same interests (and for that I would like to thank the Livemocha team who has payed attention if someone wanted to bring a negative thing in the community). Not to mention the wonderful people I have met here in this past year:):):)Congrats!!!

    Hey there..
I used to learn Korean in my university. It’s like a few courses but was not really interested in it. But I came across this Livemocha and find myself serious with Korean now.
Thanks a lot for this support from the page!

To sum it up, I love visiting Livemocha more than Facebook. I definitely spend more time on here, and it is so rewarding, both in a linguistic and emotional way.

As a Korean, I found something strange at your site. I clicked on the share menu to review language practices submitted by users. Since I am a Korean, I have been looking for Korean submissions and reviews. But I could not find any submissions and reviews regarding Korean. I know that Korean learning is being provided here at livemocha. In spite of that, how can a language like Korean be without any submissions or reviews? Korean is spoken by more than 70 million people all around the world and I am sure that there are a lot of users of livemocha willing to learn Korean and have their Korean practices reviewed by a native Korean like me. Even those languages which have fewer speakers than Korean have submissions and reviews at livemocha. I want you to figure out the reason why and reply to me with your responsible answer. I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
